How to switch off Amazon Sidewalk in the Alexa app? Amazon will launch a new feature, called Sidewalk that creates small public Internet networks in your neighborhood powered by Echo smart speakers and ring home security products.
Amazon’s new Sidewalk feature, which shuts down a small portion of your Wi-Fi bandwidth to create a larger network for Bluetooth and 900 MHz radio frequencies.
But in the Alexa app, this feature is automatically turned on for Alexa users.
Amazon is updating Alexa to allow it to automatically switch between more languages.
The update comes after a rash of small Alexa additions during November, increasing functionality and making Alexa more usable.

Alexa first acquired the ability to automatically respond to requests in English and other languages in 2019.
However, you were limited to only two languages at a time. That hasn’t changed, but now users can enable a few more languages in the Alexa app. Alexa can speak German, French, Canadian-French, Japanese, Spanish, US-Spanish, and Hindi.
Users of the new Amazon Echo, Ring Spotlight Cam, and Ring Floodlight Cam will see the increased range for their smart home devices, so they can get away from your router and other gear, but still maintain a reliable connection.
Sidewalk works with other Amazon users, so everyone in your neighborhood can contribute to that larger network.
Amazon is taking a proactive approach and enabling Sidewalk by default for all applicable devices.
