How to Reset Your iPhone

  1. Go to Settings > General > Reset.
  2. Now you will see several options. To reset your iPhone or iPad, the option you want to select is called Erase All Content and Settings.
  3. You may see a window that asks you to update your iCloud backup before deleting. You should click on Back Up Then Erase.
  4. If you don’t want to update your iCloud backup, then just click on Erase Now.
  5. You will see the same option once more and will have to enter your passcode. Once you do these things, you will be able to reset your iPhone or iPad.

How to Reset iPad using iTunes

  1. Connect your iPad to a PC or Mac and open iTunes.
  2. Wait for the device’s icon to show up on iTunes. It will appear below the play/ pause button. Once it open, click on it.
  3. After that, enter the passcode and whether to “Trust this computer” on your iPad. Make sure you trust the computer once you enter the passcode.
  4. Now on iTunes on your computer, click the blue Restore iPhone button.
  5. Click the Restore button in the pop-up to begin resetting your iOS device to factory settings.
