With the new Facebook Avatar feature, users will now be able to create and share their cartoonish characters with others. Inside profile pictures and messenger chat windows, comments on posts, they can use these characters. Third party applications like Snapchat, Twitter and Instagram will also be able to export these avatars from our users.

  • Update the latest version of the Facebook app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  • Go to the Facebook app and tap in the beef menu on the top right corner. Beef for iOS users will be located at the bottom right corner of the menu.
  • Scroll down and tap on the ‘See More’ option.
  • Tap on the ‘Avatars’ option.
  • Now you need to customize your avatar by choosing hairstyle, face shape, face lines and more. The app has many customisations that you can choose to personalize your favorite avatar.
  • You need to choose the avatar body size.
  • After you’re done with all the favorites. You can tap on the Finish icon located at the top right corner.
  • The app will then create your avatar and provide tips on how you can use your avatar.
  • Then he is asked to choose a pose for your avatar and share in your feed. There is also an option to skip this step.
  • To use your Facebook avatar, you can tap on the smiley face icon in any text area and then select the avatar in the sticker section.
