YouTube is a well-known online video service used by millions of users to watch a wide variety of videos. If you are a YouTube user, you can change the channel you subscribed to, you can change private or public. Here is a step by step guide which so you can follow to change your YouTube subscription privacy settings.

But remember before you go, by default, all settings are set to private.

Private: If you set your subscription to private, no other users can see what channel subscription. Your account cannot show a channel’s subscriber list, even if you are subscribed.
Public: If you set your subscription to public, other users can see what channel subscriptions you have.

How to make your channel subscriptions public or private:-

Follow the below-given steps to make your channel subscriptions public or private.

Step 1: First you need to Sign in to YouTube.
Step 2: Next in the top right, so click your Profile picture.
Step 3: From the given options click Settings.
Step 4: After that in the left menu, select Privacy.
Step 5: Under Likes and subscriptions, so check or uncheck the box for Keep all my subscriptions private.
Step 6: After making changes click Save.

How to hide your subscriber count:-

After you hide your number, it’s not publicly visible to others so on YouTube. You can still view your customer number in Studio on YouTube. Follow the steps below to hide your customer number.

Step 1: First you need to sign in to your Google account.
Step 2: Next go to YouTube Studio.
Step 3: After that click Settings, from the given option tap Channel and then tap Advanced Settings.
Step 4: Under Subscriber count, so uncheck Display the number of people subscribed to my channel.
Step 5: After making changes click Save.
