How to Withdraw Money From Your EPF Account Online. The EPF is possible behind the online Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) website. Employees Provident Fund – commonly known as EPF – offers a mandatory contribution provident fund, savings pension and insurance benefits to people working in India.

All regular workers in the country need to contribute to the fund with 12 percent of their basic wages (and inflation allowance, where applicable) per month, according to the norm. The contribution is saved in an EPF account of the worker, and the entire money contribution – along with an equal contribution of the employee and interest – can be withdrawn at the time of retirement. However, there are ways to withdraw money as well.

How to Withdraw Money From Your EPF Account Online:-

Before starting online EPF payment methods, it is important to note that it is only possible for a person to retire if he withdraws full money from an EPF account, or remains unemployed for more than two months.

The ‘EPFO’ is, however, in some cases, made provisions for partial withdrawals such as medical illnesses, marriages, crises, and home renovations. You can see the criteria available for premature removal on the EPFO site on the FAQ document.

  1. Visit the UAN Member e-Sewa portal.
  2. Enter your overall account number (UAN) and password as well as the captcha. And then, click the sign in button.
  3. Now, click on Online Services from the top menu and then click on CLAIM (FORM-31,19,10C&10D) option.
  4. Verify the details that appear in the online claim form.
  5. Once verified, enter your bank account number.
  6. Click the Verify button, and then click the Yes button available on the certificate.
  7. You will now be asked to proceed with the online claim by clicking Next.
  8. Claim Form Now you need to enter whether you are applying behind the Advanced Provident Fund. It will show the title drop-down menu to select the purpose for which the need is in advance.
  9. Enter the required amount in the text box below and then enter your mail address in the Employee Address section.
  10. Click on the certificate and submit your request.

Once submitted EPFO’s site may ask you to submit scanned documents for the purpose you have filled out the claim form. The request must be approved by your employer. Furthermore, it may take 15-20 days for you to link your EPF account to the bank account.
