However, due to privacy concerns, if you wish to change your YouTube password, you can do so by changing the password through Google.

Before that, we had to go to YouTube settings and change the password. YouTube Gmail, Google Docs, and other Google products now use the same password.

So in order to change the YouTube password, you have to link to your YouTube account, which must change the Google Account password. Here’s how you can do it.

How to change your YouTube password through Google?

  1. STEP 1: Login

    Login to your Google account with credentials.

  2. STEP 2: Click on Security option

    After logging in, click on Security Options in the appropriate menu.

  3. STEP 3: Scroll down

    Scroll down and under ‘Sign in to Google’, click on Password Options and enter your current password.

  4. STEP 4: Final step

    Now, enter your new password twice to confirm. When done, click Change Password.
