Checking Last Seen/ Online Status

An easy way to check is last seen in the chat window or online status. However, it may be possible that the settings you saw last time do not appear to be disabled.

Checking for profile photo

If a person is blocked on WhatsApp, you may not be able to see their profile picture. However, if you are able to see the profile picture of the person and you have been blocked, you will not be able to see their modified profile picture.

Sending a message to the contact

If you send a message to contacts who have blocked you, you will only be able to see the message as a single checkmark, as opposed to double checkmarks or blue double checkmarks (aka read invoices).

Calling the contact

Try not to go through any contact calls. You will only see the call message when you call. However, it can also happen if there is an internet connection receiving the call.

Creating a group on WhatsApp

If you are in the process of creating a contact group you will only be in that group, try to create a group that you suspect has been blocked.
