After keeping the matter relatively safe and simple over the last two years. It seems Xiaomi has now decided to up the ante with the launch of its most premium offering in the Indian market to date – the Mi QLED TV 4K. The new QLED TV offers high-end features and hardware inside a premium viewing enclosure which also brings 6 speaker systems housed in it.
Xiaomi claims TV is preparing for a cinematic TV experience as it supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 +, HDR10, Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD with support for popular HDR formats Comes. However, before the Mi QLED TV 4K becomes a hit. The challenge arises from the likes of Samsung, LG and TCL which already operate at the high end. The new Mi TV also brings with it support for the company’s proprietary Vivid Picture Engine which has been adjusted to deliver “rich and real-world detail and texture.” As mentioned above, this Reality Flow feature is complemented by support for a number of HDR formats. Which provides a smooth, blur-free viewing experience while watching games or playing video games.
Mi QLED TV 4K: What’s the design like?
While performance is definitely at the center, Xiaomi also appears to have given a lot of thought to the design of the TV. The Mi QLED TV 4K’s massive 55-inch display is fitted inside that is an aluminum alloy frame engraved with sand blast and laser precision. There is also a carbon TV back finish to improve the looks. Additionally, the new Mi TV also looks appealing to the eye. As it features a near-pane low-horizon display that flaunts a 96 percent screen to body ratio.
