How to Set Custom Wallpaper for Chats on WhatsApp? WhatsApp has recently announced some new updates to its messaging app, which will improve the wallpapers.

The update is now live for most Android and iOS users, and will be visible to users.

The wallpaper has received four major updates on WhatsApp. These include custom chat wallpapers, additional doodle wallpapers, an updated stock wallpaper gallery, and the ability to set separate wallpapers for light and dark mode settings.

With a new software update, you can now set a custom wallpaper for each of your chats individually.

The wallpapers will now correspond to the Light and Dark theme settings. So when you switch settings on your phone, the wallpaper will also change accordingly.

How to Set Custom Wallpaper for Chats on WhatsApp for iPhone

Open a WhatsApp chat and click on the contact’s name to open their contact info.
Now, click on Wallpaper and Sound > tap Choose a New Wallpaper.
On the next screen, you’ll be able to check out the latest stock wallpapers from WhatsApp. These are new bright and dark wallpapers that you can use to set as chat backgrounds.
You can also access WhatsApp’s old wallpapers by clicking on Wallpaper Archive.
You can also choose a custom photo from your phone’s gallery or you can set solid background colors.
To set a custom wallpaper, make your choice > you can also swipe left or right to preview wallpapers.
After that, click on Set > adjust the Wallpaper Dimming for tweaking brightness.

Open the Chat and click on the contact’s name to access their contact info.
Choose the wallpaper of your choice > swipe left or right to preview.
After that, click on Set Wallpaper > adjust Wallpaper Dimming for tweaking brightness.

You can also choose a custom photo as a custom wallpaper from your phone gallery

Just make sure that you have updated the latest version of WhatsApp on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
